National Crochet Month begins tomorrow

“You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.”
Maya Angelou
I can't believe tomorrow will be the 1st day of March. Spring is around the corner. Yeah.
But also tomorrow begins National Crochet Month. For me something that is definitely worth celebrating since crochet is my passion.
I will be joining Crochetville in its Celebration of Crochet which is being called
A Tour Through Crochet Country. You can read more about it. here.
There will be a blog tour of different crochet designers. Should be fun and informative. Who knows what each will have to say. They have left that up to us.
A Tour through Crochet Country
I will have my day on the tour on the 28th of March.
I am still planning what I am going to charm you with that day. I do think there will be a pattern involved. So you might want to stop by.
Anyone who knows me knows how much crochet has been and is a part of my life. It's something I have always had a passion for. I can forget my purse at home and no biggie, I get by. Forget my crocheting it's turn around now or else live with the aftermath. Thankfully I have a hubby who understands my addiction and has been know to aid and abet it.
My passion has always been thread crochet and I love adding beads for emphasis

Irish crochet has always played a large part in my design process.
Controlled free-form. If there is such an animal.

Along the way I create snippets that might become something or not

and sometimes they all come together to create a whole.
But until then you may want to visit the rest of the stops along the way.
I tried to post the list and blogger didn't like it so here is the link again to
the Crochetville blog with all the information

  2. I love thread crochet, too. I never thought of making these flowers and such to adorn plain sweaters and T-shirts!! I may just have to do this!
